Breadfruit curry / Kadachakka curry
Ingredients

Breadfruit chopped - 1 cup

Grated coconut - 1 cup

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder - 1 tbsp

Chilly powder - 2 tsp

Garam masala - 1 tsp

Shallots - 5
-
Tamarind seed less - very small piece
-
Mustard seeds - 1tsp

Dry red chilly - 2

Curry leaves
-
Oil
-
Salt to taste
Method of Preparation

Heat oil in a pan add grated coconut & fry it.When it turns to brown,add coriander powder,Red chilly powder,garam masala and fry till it turns dark brown.keep it cool

Grind the fried items with tamarind to make smooth paste.

Cook Breadfruit with turmeric and salt in a pan or pressure cooker.

When it cooked well add Grinded paste into it mix well,add salt if necessary and cook for few min.

Stop the flame.heat oil in a pan splutter mustard seeds,add dry red chilly,curry leaves and saute for few sec.

Add the seasoning in the curry & close the lid.

Breadfruit curry is ready to serve.
