Ingredients
- Toor Dal - 1 cup
- Onion - 1 chopped
- Green chilly - 4 spilt into half
- Tomato - 1 sliced
- Turmeric powder - 1 /2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Dry red chilly - 2 nos
- Curry leaves
Method of preparation
- Wash dal and add chopped onion,green chilly ,tomato,turmeric,salt to taste,enough water in it and cook till it it done or pressure cook till 3 -4 whistles.
- Add coriander leaves mix well and stop the flame.
- Heat oil in a pan ,splutter mustard seeds,dry red chilly,curry leaves saute for few sec and add the seasoning in the curry and close the lid.
- Serve it with plane rice/chapathi.
