Ingredients
- Ney meen - 1kg sliced into medium size
- Kudam puli -3 pieces
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Green chilly - 3 slit into half
- Garlic - 5 flakes sliced
- Ginger - 1 inch thinly chopped
- Curry leaves
For Marination
- Kashmiri chilly - 1 tbsp
- Red chilly powder - 1tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Fenugreek powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method of preparation
- Take all ingredients for marination,add a little water & make a fine paste and marinate over the fish and keep for 30 min.
- Heat oil in a pan,splutter mustard seeds,add ginger,garlic,green chilly,curry leaves,sliced shallots and saute till it become golden brown.
- Now add marinated fish in it and saute for 2 min on medium low flame.
- Add enough water,kudampuli,salt to taste and cook till it done.when the fish becomes soft and the gravy is thick stop the flame.
- Ney meen curry is ready to serve.
