Ingredients
- Rava/semolina/sooji - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
- Raisins - 1tbsp
- warm milk - 2 tbsp
- Ghee - 2tbsp
Method of preparation
- Heat 1tbsp ghee in a kadai,fry the cashew & raisins.keep aside.
- Again,in the same ghee fry the grated coconut till light golden and keep aside.
- Mix fried cashews & raisins,Sugar,grated coconut,cardamom powder together in a bowl and keep aside.
- In the same kadai add 1 tbsp ghee and fry the rava om medium low flame till the aroma smell comes.
- Next add the fried rava in the bowl containing roasted coconut and mix well and add warm milk in it.
- When the mixture is warm enough to handle,make small balls and tight it.(if the mixture is difficult to make balls add alittle more milk or ghee in it and make balls.
- Rava laddu is ready !
