Ingredients
- Ripe Banana - 4 cut into two pieces length wise
- Maida /all purpose flour- 1 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 2 tsp -optional
- Water as Required
- Oil - as required for frying.
Method of preparation
- Take maida,turmeric,cumin seeds,sugar in a bowl & mix it with water to make a smooth thick batter.keep it for 15 min.
- Heat oil in a pan, dip banana in the batter and fry it in the oil one by one.fry both sides till it become golden.
- Ethakka Appam is ready to serve with Tea.
